Hollolan Cockscomb Along the path through the pine forest, you can immerse yourself in the landscape of sounds high on the Salpausselkä ridge.

Along the path of the Sounding Forest you will find musical instruments, each of which makes different sounds depending on the player. Listen to what sound you hear when you play more softly and slowly or at a faster tempo. What other sounds do you hear in the forest?

The Soiva metsä nature trail is approximately 1 kilometer long, but it is a good idea to allow 1–1,5 hours for the tour, depending on the musicians.

The Hollola Sounding Forest was inspired by its relative in Suomussalmi. In Hollola, the forest's musical instruments and structures were created in collaboration with the municipal employment services Kunnontiimi and the local Luonnollesti cooperative. The musical instruments have been made using as many recycled materials as possible.
