Ylinen Viipurintie is one of Finland's historic country roads. The first written mention of the road can be found in the complaint list (1555-1557) of Jaakko Teit, who was the secretary of the Swedish king, Kustaa Vaasa. The name Ylinen comes from the fact that two roads used to go to Viipur - Ylinen and Alinen Viipurintie. The Alinen Viipurintie or Suuri Rantatie, which ran from Viipur along the coast to Turku, is today better known as Kuninkaantie.

The Kirkk'ailanmäki cemetery is located in the village of Untila, along Jarvalantie, after the bridge over the Hämeenlinna-Lahti road. A stone slab has been erected on the spot as a memorial.
The Kirkk'ailanmäki cemetery is one of the most significant cemetery finds in our country. The cemetery has been in use from the time of the Crusaders to the Middle Ages, i.e. from around the 1000th century to the 1300th century. More than a hundred graves have been found in the cemetery. The oldest of the graves date back to the turn of the 1000th and 1100th centuries, and significant artefact discoveries have been made from them. Most of the younger graves were without objects - the change in burial methods was probably connected to the adoption of Christianity in the region. According to tradition, Hollola's first church was located on Kirkk'ailanmäki, or Kirkkoaida hill.
There is a memorial and an information board at the Kirkk'ailanmäki cemetery site. The cemetery itself is located in a private area, so it is advisable to visit the place only from the road.
