Cycling and cross-country exercise trails
There are several cycling routes of varying lengths and levels in Hollola and the surrounding area. Choose a leisurely trip through village and lake landscapes or head for forest trails where you can enjoy the ridges and meadows of Salpausselkä.
Gravel trails
On this stunning route you will enjoy rolling countryside, fields and lakes.
Embark on an adventure along the route of Salpausselkä's deep canyons and ice age remains. The tour is not particularly long, but it includes a lot of climbing and offers some fast-paced sections to balance it out.
The route is demanding, among other things because of its hilly nature.
This route, celebrating the city of Lahti's centenary, offers cyclists rolling terrain, forest sections and field landscapes.

A long and varied route that gives you a good overview of what gravel cycling is like in Päijät-Häme.
There are beautiful scenery and nice places to stop along the way. It is not possible to shorten the route halfway through, but you can speed up the journey by switching from gravel roads to larger roads.
The tour of the seven villages passes through rolling fields in a cultural environment and landscape area of regional and national value.
The length of the route can be adjusted. The distance can be shortened by, for example, omitting the Nokkola loop in the southwestern part of the area or other more distant destinations.
Gravel routes can be ridden on a regular or electric touring bike.
Please note that the Salpausselkä Extreme and Lahti 120 routes are more demanding than others, due to hilliness, among other things.
Road routes
A classic route that challenges you with uphill climbs along the way, but also rewards you with fast descents and beautiful scenery. The route can be ridden both clockwise and counterclockwise, and the trip can be completed in less than one day.
The classic evening walk route takes you from the village of Kirkkonummi to Messilä via Salpakanka and Hälvälä – or the other way around!
The route offers cyclists valuable cultural landscapes, the historic church village of Hollola with its resting places and the hills of Salpausselkä.
