Hollola Nature Trails

All of Hollola's sites are part of the Salpauselkä Geopark complex. In 2022, Salpausselkä Geopark was named a UNESCO Global Geopark in UNESCO's global network of geologically valuable areas.

Routes and destinations

Hollola's camping and Nature sites are versatile and beautiful. There are several nature trails, hiking trails, nature reserves and geologically valuable sites in the Hollola area. The area's fauna and flora are also abundant.

Cycling and cross-country exercise trails

The cycling and cross-country trails go around the varied and beautiful terrain of Hollola Tiirisma. Along the trails, you can find valleys, ups and downs, and lake scenery. Tiirismaa's surroundings are not called Southern Finland's Lapland for nothing.

Salpauselkä Geopark

Salpauselä, layered by ancient glacial rivers, are at their most spectacular in the Hollola and Lahti region. Here, they form a unique entity that reflects the flow of continental glacier meltwater, together with the ridges that are oriented in a fan-like manner to the north.

The nature trails are maintained by the Kunnontiimi

The maintenance team maintains and maintains many of Hollola's excursion and nature destinations and builds new ones. You can recognize the work contribution of the fitness team from the information signs that are affixed, e.g. Marta's house and Tiilijärvi surroundings
