Beaches
Last updated: 26.06.2026Hollola has 14 public beaches maintained by the municipality, where the swimming areas are marked. The swimming beaches are free of charge for the use of municipal residents. Winter swimming spots are located in Vähä-Tiilijärvi in Salpakakkaan and Teurojoki in Hämeenkoski.
In order to safeguard the quality of the swimming water, we monitor the quality of the pool water at the swimming beaches and swimming halls with regular sampling. We monitor the algae situation at public swimming beaches in connection with swimming water sampling. The goal is that the water quality of the swimming beaches and halls remains impeccable and the swimming places are safe.

Water park at Messilä beach
There is a water park on the child-friendly sandy beach in front of Messilän Camping from 6 June to 9 August 2026. Come bounce on land or in the water and spend a joyful beach day with the whole family.
