Exercise in Hollola

Hollola has a wide variety of sports opportunities. Among other things, the wonderful nature gives many opportunities for inspiring movement. You can move around by bike, skis, snowshoes, skates or on foot. Get to know the possibilities and start moving together or alone, guided or by your own choices.

Guided exercise and indoor exercise

Hollola offers a wide range of indoor sports. There are indoor sports facilities for almost everything, from ice rinks to school gyms. The municipal sports services of Hollola organize a variety of sports opportunities, guided sports and sports advice.

Outdoor exercise

Hollola, which is better than others by nature, has opportunities for movement regardless of the season. There are more than 100 kilometers of ski slopes and nature trails, and there are also versatile routes for cyclists in Salpausselkä's ridge terrain.

Hollola ice rink

The Hollola Ice Hall, located in Heinsuo, Salpakankaa, is a comfortable training hall. Public skating without sticks is available on Sundays from 10:00 to 11:20.

Physical activity/sports activity 2025

The municipality of Hollola annually recognizes a significant physical activity/sports-related act by a resident of Hollola. This physical activity act recognizes the significant contributions of the local community to the promotion and support of sports. The act can be a sporting achievement, the result of volunteer work, an event or a person who has significantly influenced physical activity, e.g. by increasing it, diversifying it or volunteering. An act that has positively influenced the image of Hollola in 2025 or in the longer term already before.

Standard shifts

Hollola Swimming Pool Hall's regular hours spring 2026
Standard shifts for the swimming pool-multipurpose hall are available for application from 10.11.-10.12.2025 by 12 noon. The planned swimming pool-multipurpose hall season is 2.2.-14.6.2026. Shifts are applied for through the Timmi space reservation program. The available spaces are shifts for the multi-purpose hall and the pool hall. Instructions for applying for spaces can be found on the Hollola website www.hollola.fi Leisure services > Activities and participation
If necessary, the Piipahlus Service Point will help you make a room reservation, Nuottikuja 2, Hollola. For more information, call 044 780 1245, 044 780 1357 and 044 780 1448. Reservations will be confirmed as soon as possible after the application deadline.

Standard shifts for other Sports/Hobby facilities for the 2025-2026 season were available from April 1st to April 29th, 2025 at 12:00. The indoor sports/hobby season is August 4th, 2025 - May 31st, 2026.
Tiilikangas sports hall, Paimela sports hall and Salpakankas kindergarten hall are not available/in use. Judo hall shifts (Soramäentie 31) for associations only. Ice rink season 1.9.2025-2.4.2026 (not closed 23-25.12.2025, 26.12. public skating only and closed 31.12.2025 -1.1.2026). Other sports/hobby facilities closed 24-25.12.2025.

Association grants

The grant supporting the activities of associations in the municipality of Hollola is open for applications from 1.2.-28.2.2025. The production support grant is open for applications from 1.1.-30.11.2025. Links can be found on the association activities page during the application period for the grant in question.

Public skating

Public skating without sticks at the Hollola ice rink on Sundays from 10:00 to 11:20.
