K-Market Soramäki's business story

K-Market Soramäki is a small store with good service in Soramäki's vibrant shopping center in Hollola. We serve the residents of the surrounding area for both small and large purchases, and often also people from further afield in Hollola: from the areas of Vesala, Tennilä, Salpakakkaa and Lahden. Upon entering the door, the customer is surprised by the cozy feel of a nearby kappa and staff serving with a big heart. The selection is surprisingly versatile and we constantly supplement it according to customer wishes. With us, doing business is fast and effortless. There is a good-sized free parking lot in the yard and you can park your car almost at the front door.

Soramäki ostar has had a shop for decades. With the acquisitions of Kesko and Suomen Lähikauppa, Valinttalo became K-Market in 2016. I have been working as a merchant in K-Market Soramäki since 2019. My own work history includes 10 years starting in Lahti Anttila with supervisor coaching. The road to becoming an entrepreneur began in 2006 through Esso in Heinola, to Neste Taukotuule in Lahti, and from there to Kesko sales training in 2017. This work is done for love to the sport. For the love of food and people. During the Corona period, people's desire to help has grown, and K-Market Soramäki also offers home delivery. A call to the merchant is enough, the shopping list is written down and home delivery is possible within a couple of days. With professional staff and nice customers, it is rewarding to do this work, and entrepreneurship in the grocery store is, above all, a way of life.
