BluePlan Oy was founded in 2017 to serve machine owners and manufacturers by offering a variety of machine safety services such as CE marking of machines, safety audits and various protection products such as flexible crash guards, electrical safety components and mechanical and electrical X-ray and laser protection.

In spring-winter 2020, when the world shut down, I had to think about how to continue selling our products and services when I couldn't visit customers. Jar has a long career in machine safety, during which he has been looking for a tool to make his work easier. When Korona stopped everything, there was time to innovate and think about how to develop both our own work and the security of our customers' machines into a more digital and easier-to-manage format. The Step2Safety™ service was born, with which Jari realized that he was involved in changing the entire field of machine safety.

BluePlan Oy's Step2Safety™ service is an application that contains everything to secure the machine. In an optimal situation, the machine manufacturer takes the application into use already at the stage when the new machine starts to be manufactured. Safety is action and you should start doing it before the machine is ready. Safety in the situation of machines is created with technology, and when a strong safety foundation is built right from the beginning, safety follows the machine throughout its life cycle, which can be up to 30 years.

When the new owner continues to use the service, the security history is seamless and, thanks to digitalization, easily available to the entire organization, on all devices.

The Step2Safety™ service contains all the safety documentation related to the machine, it guides and instructs its users and contains a lot of training material that can be used to train your own organization in machine safety. On the basis of the measures taken and recorded in the application, data is obtained that the company's management and responsible persons can use in budgeting and thus planning security.
