Summer jobs for the 2026 season will be available for application from Mon 23.2. – Sun 15.3.2026 and can be applied for through Kuntarekry.
In the summer of 2025, there were a total of 60 summer workers in the following fields:
- Early childhood education and preschool education
- Municipal engineering, sports facility management
- Library services of the main library
- Food and cleaning services
- Sports services, assistance to sports groups
- Youth services, children's day camps and the shore of Lake Vähä-Tiilijärvi
- A total of 282 applications were received for summer 2025.

- Applications for a summer job are made through the job advertisement in Kuntarekry. The application period is 23.2.-15.3.2026.
- Young people who have reached the age of 14 or will reach the age of 14 in 2026 can apply for summer jobs. For positions announced separately in the job announcement, the age limit is higher for occupational safety reasons.
