Summer jobs for the 2026 season

For the summer of 2026, the municipality of Hollola is offering a total of 54 months of summer jobs in various units of the municipality. This summer's summer work periods are scheduled for June (1.-28.6.2026) and July (29.6.-26.7.2026). Working hours are 30 hours per week, an average of about 6 hours per day. The salary for a four-week summer work period is €880,00. A summer worker can work for one 4-week period.

  • Early childhood education, 32 seats
  • Municipal technology / sports facilities (age limit 16), 1 place
  • Food and cleaning services, 6 seats
  • Library, 3 seats
  • Sports services, 4 seats
  • Youth and cultural services, 8 seats

Processing and selection of summer job applications 2026

The application period for summer jobs has ended. 16.3.2026A total of 319 summer job applications were received for summer 2026, compared to 282 applicants in 2025.

Applications have been processed after the application period has ended. Some applicants were invited for interviews, and those who participated in the interviews were notified of their selections after the interview round. Decisions on the choices were made 30.4.2026 and all those who applied for municipal summer jobs have been notified of the outcome of the application process no later than Monday 4 May 2026.

Selection criteria for summer jobs in 2026:

  • Anyone who has reached the age of 14 or will reach the age of 14 during 2026 (January 1-December 31, 2026) has been able to apply for summer jobs in the municipality of Hollola. The minimum age requirement for managing sports facilities is 16 years.
  • Applicants could apply for all positions without prior experience. Preference was given to applicants who had not previously worked for or been paid for by the municipality of Hollola.
  • A well-written application was taken into account in interview selection.
