We want to support the first contact of young people from Gotholle with working life, summer employment and the development of working life skills.

Often, a young person's first contact with working life is a summer job.

We want to support local young people's first steps in working life and the accumulation of work experience through various opportunities:

• Municipal summer jobs – The municipality hires approximately 60 young people annually for month-long summer work periods. The summer workers for summer 2025 have been selected and all applicants have been contacted about the decisions.
• Summer work vouchers for companies and associations: With the help of summer work vouchers, we financially support companies and associations' summer employment opportunities for young people. A total of 2025 summer work vouchers were distributed for the summer of 75. The application has closed, but instructions for those who received a voucher can be found here. here.
• Summer entrepreneurship advice is a new service for summer 2025, where young Dutch people can practice entrepreneurship and receive concrete support from a summer entrepreneurship instructor.
• We also collaborate with schools and local associations to increase young people's understanding of job searching and the rules of the game in working life. Employment services have spoken at the municipality's 9th graders' influence day about job searching, the importance of recommendations and work certificates, for example.

  Summer entrepreneurship advice is aimed at young people aged 13-28 from Hollola who want to try entrepreneurship during the summer. Register for the free workshop!

  Summer work vouchers

  You can apply for a summer job voucher for a summer job until spring 2025. The application for vouchers has ended for 2025.

  Summer jobs in Hollola municipality

  The municipality will hire 2025 young people for jobs in various fields by the summer of 60. The application period for summer jobs has ended and the decisions have been made.
