Job opportunities for young people

The municipality of Hollola supports the introduction of young people to working life by offering summer jobs and summer work vouchers to help them gain their first work experience.

Most often, a young person's first contact with working life is a summer job.

We want to support local young people's first steps in working life and the accumulation of work experience through various opportunities. In addition, the employment and integration services cooperate with schools and local actors to increase young people's knowledge about job searching and the rules of the working world. If you are interested in cooperation, please contact your municipality's own employment services.

  Young people can apply for a summer job voucher annually from the municipality to support their summer employment. The vouchers are available during the spring season.

  The municipality offers summer job opportunities for young people at various locations each year. Applications are open in February-March each year.

  Summer entrepreneurship advice and support

  Summer entrepreneurship is a good way to practice entrepreneurial skills under supervision. Entrepreneurship training builds working life skills and also provides experience that supports job search.
