The municipality of Hollola is participating in the municipal experiment of employment in the Lahti region. The municipal experiments will last until the end of 2024, after which the operation of employment services will be transferred to the municipalities.

As a customer of the municipal trial, you get a personal trainer, with whom you agree on future contact. He helps you map out your situation and guides you along the service path towards job hunting and employment.

Kuntakokeilu helps you with employment-related matters instead of the TE office. Switching to a municipal trial customer happens automatically. The transfer does not make any changes to your unemployment insurance or your obligations. When a job search becomes relevant, register as a job seeker at the TE office as usual, and they will refer you to the municipality as a client if necessary. Customers of the municipal experiment will be notified of the customership personally.

Who are the customers of the municipal experiment?

You are a client of the municipal trial when you have registered as a job seeker and your home municipality is part of the regional municipal trial and you are unemployed, laid off, employed or in a service that promotes employment and belong to one of the following groups:

  1. you are not entitled to earnings allowance, but you receive labor market support or basic allowance from Kela
  2. your mother tongue is other than Finnish, Swedish or Sámi or your citizenship is other than Finnish
  3. you are under 30 years old.

Information about the change in the law

 

Your municipal trial membership lasts for the entire duration of the municipal trial.

Switching to a municipal trial customer happens automatically, and you don't have to personally contact the municipal trial or TE office in your area for that. Customers of the municipal trial will be notified of their membership personally.

The transfer does not cause changes to your unemployment insurance, and does not bring you any additional obligations.

 

 

During the trial, you normally register as a job seeker at the TE office, which directs the customers who are part of the municipal trial to become customers of the municipality.
