County and municipal elections 2025
Regional and municipal elections will be held simultaneously on Sunday 13.4.2025. Elections are more than local politics – in them we decide on human-sized issues, everyday life, well-being, vitality and, above all, the future of our children and young people. By voting, you influence who will decide on important issues that affect everyone's everyday life for the next four years.
- In municipal elections Councillors will be elected to the Hollola Municipal Council, who will decide on the municipality's operations and finances. In the 2025 municipal elections, 43 councillors and their deputy councillors will be elected to the Hollola Municipal Council for a four-year term. The council's term of office will begin on 1.6.2025 June XNUMX.
- In regional elections Delegates are elected to regional councils, which are responsible for organizing social and health services and rescue services in welfare areas. The regional council is the highest decision-making body in the welfare area. In the 2025 regional elections, 69 regional councillors and their deputy councillors will be elected to the regional council of the Päijät-Häme welfare area for a four-year term. Voting
Regional and municipal elections are held at the same time. You can vote in both elections at the same time. However, if you wish, you can vote in different elections at different times or exercise your right to vote only in one election.
- You can vote in advance at any public advance voting location in Finland or abroad.
- On election day, 13.4, each eligible voter may only vote at their own polling station. The polling station on election day will be mentioned in the voting rights notification sent to the eligible voter by post or to the Suomi.fi service.

Information about voting
Voting rights are determined in the same way in regional and municipal elections.
Citizens of Finland, other EU member states, Iceland and Norway who are at least 18 years old on election day are eligible to vote in the elections. 13.4.2025.

Voting:

In the municipal elections to be held on April 13, 2025, 43 councilors will be elected to the Hollola council.
Candidate applications and other documents regarding the nomination of candidates must be submitted no later than March 4, 2025 before 16 p.m. to the Hollola Municipality Central Election Board at the Hollola Municipal Office, Tiilijärventie 7 F or by post to the Hollola Central Election Board, P.O. Box 66, 15871 Hollola.
The Secretary of the Central Election Commission receives documents 4.3.2025 9 am to 16 pm at the municipal office and other times by appointment. Appointments can be arranged by calling 044 780 1202.
