Municipal and regional elections
The next elections are regional and municipal elections. Election day is Sunday 13.4.2025 April 9 from 20 am to 2 pm. Early voting in Finland 8.4.2025–43 April XNUMX. In the municipal elections, councilors and deputy councilors are elected to the municipality's highest institution, the council. There are XNUMX councilors in Hollola's council. The electoral district is each municipality, which means that candidates are placed in each municipality and everyone can vote for the candidate of their home municipality. In regional elections, regional councils are elected for welfare areas. The constituency is a welfare area. Candidates are nominated for the entire welfare area, voters only vote for candidates in their own welfare area, and the result is calculated per welfare area. An odd number of councilors are elected based on the population of the welfare area.
