Supervisory Division

The Supervisory Division operates

• as a municipal building control authority pursuant to Section 99 of the Construction Act
• as the authority supervising the management of the built environment pursuant to Section 142, Paragraph 3 of the Construction Act
• as the municipal environmental protection authority in accordance with § 5 of the Act on Municipal Environmental Protection Administration
• as the licensing and control authority referred to in the Land Materials Act
• as a camping area authority pursuant to Section 23 of the Outdoor Activities Act
• as a multi-member body pursuant to Section 103 d of the Land Use Act, which monitors compliance with Chapter 13 a of the Land Use Act.

In addition, the Supervisory Division has special powers, as is evident from the tables attached to the Administrative Rules.
