Vitality Committee
Last updated: 11.07.2024The vitality committee meets in the cabinet of the Heinsuo school on Tuesdays, as a rule, at 17 p.m. according to the tentatively decided meeting schedule. The leader of vitality acts as the presenter. When he is prevented or hindered, the person assigned to replace him acts as presenter.
Elinvoima's service area contributes to the creation of versatile housing opportunities and takes care of the development of business conditions. The service area produces the land use and municipal engineering services needed by housing and business, takes care of public transport planning and is responsible for organizing the services of the building control and environmental protection authority. In addition, the service area takes care of employment matters, business tasks, public transport services (LSL) and food and cleaning services for kindergartens and schools.
As a single sub-entity, a budget has been set aside in the operating economy of the area of responsibility for the administration of the municipality's real estate affairs (including investments, which are ordered separately). The works are ordered from Hollola Tilapalvelut Oy.
The service area operates under the guidance of the vitality committee, producing efficient, economical and customer-oriented services, mainly for municipal residents. There are seven areas of responsibility under the Vitality Committee: development and planning services, municipal engineering, building control and environmental protection, water supply facility, food and cleaning services, employment services and vitality administration (including business services and public transport).
The organization of the service area includes the environmental healthcare balance unit. Environmental health care operates under the authority of the environmental health board, which approves the balance unit's budget. The areas of responsibility under the Environmental Health Board are: veterinary care, health protection, and environmental health administration and the board. Environmental health care serves the needs of 8 municipalities regionally.
