Distribution instructions for the PRO Hollola medal

The PRO Hollola medal is awarded in recognition of meritorious activities for the benefit of the municipality of Hollola. It can be considered a meritorious activity

  • an exceptionally large contribution as a trustee, office holder, employee, organization or club of the municipality of Hollola
  • an act which, performed by a person from Gotholola, has made Hollola's name known and is given a special value outside

As a general rule, one medal can be awarded annually. The medal is awarded by the municipal government. A private person, community or municipal body can make an initiative to award the medal to the municipal government by 31.10. by.

The medal will be given to the person concerned on the 6th of December during the Independence Day celebration. In exceptional cases, the medal can also be handed out at a celebration event organized at other times.

The PRO-Hollola medal was designed by the sculptor and art gefafik from Gotholola, professor Heikki Nieminen (1926-2016).
