Thank you to everyone who answered the tori survey!
In order to develop the Hollola market area, a survey was carried out, the purpose of which was to collect the perspectives and insights of various market users. It was possible to answer the survey electronically or with a paper form at Hollola's main library between August 5 and 31.8.2024, 190. In addition, visitors to the market were met and heard on their way to the market events in August. There were XNUMX answers, thanks for every one!
The survey wanted to hear what kind of things the market's users and operators consider important? The most frequently mentioned issues in the open answers were: SERVICES, GREEN BUILDING and NATURE VALUES, SAFETY, CLEANLINESS, ENTERTAINMENT and AESTHETICS.
The respondents wanted free events for different age groups: culture, sports and food events. Structures that enable people to enjoy, stay and work together in a safe and clean environment that is easy to get to were considered important. For example, benches, plantings, trash cans and signs were requested. Safety also came up frequently in the answers (62 mentions). The responses reflected on how everyone could feel safe when coming to the market and, for example, no cars, no intoxicants and accessibility were called for.
In the answers, diverse points of view were brought out both in relation to the market's structures, events and operations as well as services. A summary of the responses has been compiled to support planning and development work. More information about the implementation of the survey: hanna.ruokamo@hollola.fi.
