Administration and organization

The management of the municipality is divided into political management and professional management. The whole of the municipality's top management consists of the council elected in the municipal elections and the municipal board appointed by the council, as well as the municipal manager acting as a professional leader. The municipality's operations are managed in accordance with the municipal strategy approved by the council. The municipal government manages the operation, administration and finances of the municipality. The municipal manager manages the administration, finances and other activities of the municipality under the authority of the municipal board. The council transfers its authority to other institutions and office holders of the municipality by administrative regulation.
