Support for home care

Children's home care allowance is paid for a child under the age of 3 who is not in early childhood education. You can get home care allowance at the earliest after the end of the parental allowance period. The child can be cared for by one of the guardians or the care can be arranged privately. Support is also paid for siblings under school age who are cared for at home. Support for home care consists of a care allowance and a possible care allowance determined according to the family's income. Home care support is applied for from Kela, and Kela is responsible for decisions and payment.

The municipal allowance for children's home care support is not in use in Hollola.
