Temporary early childhood education is an option for families when early childhood education is occasionally needed. Temporary early childhood education is carried out as far as possible in family daycare, but sometimes also in kindergartens when there are places available in the group, for example on days off for permanent children. If he needs early childhood education continuously for 10 days or more, he must apply for an early childhood education place. The regular need for early childhood education due to work, studies or other reasons (e.g. once a week) is not considered temporary. A child in pre-school education can use the service for the occasional need for early childhood education that supplements pre-school education. A child in private early childhood education can also receive the service, if it is possible. at the time. Temporary early childhood education does not prevent children from receiving support for home care.

A fee is charged for temporary early childhood education:

Part-time (less than 5h/day) – €10/day/child
Full day (over 5h/day) – €18/day/child
Shift care – €25/day/child
