Hämeenkoski kindergarten

Hämeenkoski kindergarten is located in a quiet area, in the middle of a beautiful field landscape, next to Hämeenkoski school. The nursery is focused on digital and nature education. From 2022, our daycare center will officially be the Salpauselkä Geopark daycare center, and we will annually implement the whole house Geopark project based on the goals of the UN's sustainable development action program (Agenda 2030).

In our kindergarten, we go on weekly trips. We invest in the richness and versatility of the learning environment. We use our facilities and equipment, e.g. for music, exercise, art, gardening and practicing digital skills. The daycare center also has its own spa department.

The Hämeenkoski daycare center has a warm, encouraging and safe atmosphere. We learn new things together through positive interaction and play. We give space to the child's joy, the growth of independence and creativity.

Hämeenkoski daycare center and school have a joint parents' association, which contributes to promoting interaction and cooperation between children, parents and educational communities.

The daycare center is open according to the stated care times between 6 a.m. and 18 p.m.
