Preparatory teaching

Preparatory education for primary education is intended for all pre-primary and primary school-age children and young people with an immigrant background who do not yet have the necessary linguistic skills to study in pre-primary or primary education. The main focus of the teaching is the development of the student's language skills and the provision of skills for pre-primary or basic education. Both children and young people who have just moved to the country and those born in Finland with an immigrant background can participate in the teaching.
