Registration for the first class takes place in January through the Wilma system.

The electronic registration form of the Wilma system is open only during January. At other times, the student notification form must be requested from the school office. Wilma's electronic forms are only visible when logged in with a web browser, i.e. they are not visible in the mobile application.

Compulsory schooling usually starts the year a child turns seven. School registration is announced in Hollola Sanomat and through the website.

A guardian who wants a postponement of the start of school for their child must submit a written request and an expert opinion to the welfare services by the end of May.

A guardian who wants to apply for a school place for his child at a school other than a nearby school (secondary school place):

  • Fill out Wilma's registration form so that the student's neighborhood school is forwarded information about your application to a school other than the neighborhood school.
  • Apply for a secondary school place from the school principal in accordance with the instructions from the "Applying to other than nearby school" link below.

Severely disabled means a child with a severe or moderate visual, hearing, physical or developmental disability, or a child comparable to these in terms of the severity of the disability. Compulsory education begins the year the child turns 6.
