Kankaan school

Kankaan school is Hollola's demanding special support school for basic education students. The school has about 100 student places. The school is located in the Salpakangas school center.

In its everyday activities, Kankaan school consistently and systematically strives to support the development of a community-based culture and strengthens the experiences of inclusion and being heard and accepted by the students and the entire school community. The goal is the student's comprehensive well-being and balanced psychological growth. The principle is to offer high-quality and pedagogically safe learning experiences.

Multiprofessional staff works at our school. Our principle is the educational responsibility of the entire school. We operate in a solution-oriented manner and utilize everyday situations in educational work.

  Basic education special class – Stage

  Kangas School houses special education classes called Etappi, which serve almost all municipalities in Päijät-Häme. The studies are carried out using a rehabilitative approach.
