Kangas School is a special needs school for primary school students in Hollola. The school has approximately 100 places. The school operates in two locations. Three groups operate in the Salpakankaa school (Koulurinteentie 9 D) and 10 groups operate in the Tiilikangas school building in the spare rooms (Tiilikankaantie 3). 10.8.2025 due to the school fire that occurred.

In its everyday activities, Kangas School consistently and systematically strives to support the development of a community culture and to strengthen the experiences of inclusion, listening and acceptance of students and the entire school community. The goal is the student's overall well-being and balanced psychological growth. Our principle is to provide high-quality and pedagogically safe learning experiences.

Our school has a multidisciplinary staff. We operate in a solution-oriented manner and utilize everyday situations in our educational work: the whole school educates!

  • Basic education special class – Stage

    Kangas School houses special education classes called Etappi, which serve almost all municipalities in Päijät-Häme. The studies are carried out using a rehabilitative approach.
