Hollola also has a municipal Parents' Network.
Collaboration promotes the healthy growth and development of students!
Through educational cooperation, we increase the well-being and safety of the student, the class, and the entire school community. Parental involvement and the opportunity to be involved in school work and its development is a central part of the operating culture of our schools.
The guardian has the primary responsibility for the upbringing of his or her child. He or she ensures that compulsory education is completed. Our schools support the educational task of homes and are responsible for the student's education and upbringing as a member of the school community. Cooperation is based on reciprocity and mutual respect.
You can familiarize yourself with the school's academic year plan based on the curriculum in Wilma on the Annual planning tab. The plan describes the practical arrangements for the school's operations for the school year. Teachers cooperate between home and school during joint planning work time.
Parents' evenings bring parents together
Cooperation is based on trust!
You can get information about parent's evenings and other common things between home and school through Wilma and from your school's principal and teachers.
Effective communication is an essential part of the cooperation between home and school
Through Wilma, you can reach the school's entire staff and student care. The planning and implementation of learning support is always based on the student's needs. Cooperation is often carried out multi-professionally.
It is important to report the child's absences due to illness to the school immediately. It can be handled conveniently on Wilma's hourly notes tab or in the Wilma app.
Changes related to school transport are handled through MunApp. You can get more information about them on the School Transports page.
Home-school cooperation is guided by the Pre-primary and Primary Education Curriculum. The curriculum is complemented by many other plans on various topics, such as student guidance, bullying, culture, information and communication technology. They can be found together at the following link:
