  • Half of the monthly fee is charged if the child is absent from afternoon activities for 11 activity days or more during a calendar month due to illness.
  • If the absence due to illness lasts the whole month, no fee is charged.
  • When requested, a doctor's or nurse's certificate must be presented.
  • Half of the customer fee is charged for absences for the entire calendar month, other than due to illness.
  • If the afternoon activity is exceptionally organized on no more than 10 days a month, only half of the monthly fee is charged.

If the payment is not made by the due date, the unpaid claim is transferred to the debt collection agencies, and an annual late interest can be charged on it as stipulated in the Interest Act (633/1982).

The payment is directly withdrawable. The monthly fee can be collected without a judgment or decision, as stipulated in the law on the collection of taxes and fees by enforcement actions (367/1961).

For questions related to invoicing, you should contact the school's principal.

You can get an exemption from the payment, if there is a reason for it, taking into account the guardian's maintenance obligation, income conditions or maintenance considerations.
