Osuma - A workshop without walls for young people

Osuma manages the municipality community cafes activities at the library cafe in Salpakakka, in the Kalliola school cabinet and in ticket sales and cafe operations at the swimming hall. Seinätö's workshop activities also cover the municipality's other offices, for example schools and daycare centers. Coffees are also made to customer order at the offices.

Osuma is a project part-financed by the Regional Administrative Agency under the Leisure Services. The operation started in January 2019 and the project has expanded its operations over the years. The workshop without walls is learning by doing, where the coach supports the trainee during the session. The coach accompanies the young person throughout the entire period, supporting him in finding employment in the open labor market, increasing his study skills and learning working life skills. Osuma is also a traveler on the open labor market after employment.

Osuma works in cooperation with the municipal experiment, employment services and other result areas of Hollola municipality.
