Hollola leisure services for children and youth summer 2026 

Hollola's leisure services organize many different summer activities for children and young people in Hollola. Find the activities that interest you below and sign up!  

Registration starts on Friday, April 24.4th. We will use onlineshop.hollola.fi Registration for swimming schools opens 4.5.2026.

Please note that not all activities require registration and some registrations start later.

Day camps for 1st-3rd graders at Kalliola and Salpakankaa schools 1.-18.6.2026. 

Day camps for 1st-3rd graders will be held in Kalliola and Salpakanka from Monday to Friday, June 1-5.6 and June 8-12.6. During Midsummer week, camps will be held at both schools from Monday to Thursday, June 15-18.6. 

The price of the camp is 25 €/week and 20 € during Midsummer week.  

The camp allows children to try out their hand skills, do science tricks, code robots, play and move around. They also go outside during the day and a hot lunch and snack are provided at the camp. The camps are organized in cooperation with the leisure services and early childhood education Digi-Sanna and Leikki-Milla.

Swimming schools  

Summer swimming schools will be held at the Hollola swimming pool during weeks 23 and 24. The courses are aimed at children aged 5 and over. 

Swimming schools to be held in the swimming pool in the summer of 2026 will be free of charge thanks to the participatory budgeting vote. The free beach swimming schools are made possible by Kaukokiito's donation to hold swimming schools. One swimming school includes 4 swimming sessions. 

Registration for the indoor swimming pool's summer swimming schools opens 4.5.2026. Beach swimming schools 15.6-18.6. Herrala and Paimela, 29.6.- 2.7. Hämeenkoski Valkjärvi and Hollola church shore). Swimming schools on the beaches are made possible by Kaukokiito. Registration for beach schools opens by 8.5.

Elementary swimming schools: For children aged 5 and older who cannot swim. Instruction in a children's pool.  

Advanced swimming schools: Minimum swimming skill: continuous 10-meter swim. Instruction in a children's pool and a large pool.  

Technical swimming school: Minimum swimming skill 25 meters. Teaching entirely in a large pool. In addition to technical instruction, tricks in the water and games.

In addition, free coastal schools will be organized in various parts of Hollola in the summer of 2026. More detailed information about coastal schools will be sent in May through the schools' Wilma system.

Trip to Tykkimäki and Aquapark 11.6.2026. 

Join us for the most exciting day of the summer at Tykkimäki and Tykkimäki Aquapark! 

Hollola Leisure Services offers free bus transportation to the amusement park and water park. 

Please note that each hiker is responsible for their own tickets or wristbands for the amusement park or Aquapark. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance from the Tykkimäki online store. 

Departure on June 11.6th at 10:00 from in front of the Hollola swimming pool and return to the Hollola swimming pool at approximately 18:00. 

The trip is intended for young people and families with children from Hollola.  

Those over 13 years of age can participate in the trip without a guardian, and those younger than 13 can participate in the trip with a guardian or an adult they know.

 Overnight camp at Hämeenkoski camp house 15.-18.6.2026. 

Hollola Leisure Services organizes the 15th18.6.2026. night camp for future 5th-7th graders, young people from Hollola, at the Hämeenkoski camp house. 

The camp house is located on the shore of Lake Pääjärvi in ​​Hollola, which allows for a variety of summer activities such as swimming and sauna bathing, as well as playing games and practicing crafts together! 

The price of the camp is 45 € and includes travel, meals, insurance and the program. 

Information about the camp will be sent to guardians before the start of the camp.

 Traffic park 

The traffic park will open to children in the summer of 2026 in the municipal center on the site of the former office building. In the traffic park, children can play and ride pedal cars and practice traffic rules in a fun way through play. There will be municipal summer workers there to ensure a smooth and safe journey. 

Ball games, yard games and yard games 

Ball games, yard games and yard play are aimed at all primary school-aged children and young people who are enthusiastic about doing physical activity and hanging out together. Younger children are welcome to come with older siblings/parents.   

In Pihanuoku, the youth space is brought out into the yard and young people are offered guided activities and things to do together. Youth instructors can be found, for example, in various games and summer activities in different parts of Hollola.

Ball games, yard games and yard games do not require advance registration from participants. Please note that outdoor activities are subject to weather conditions. Activities will not be organized in bad weather.

Community café Kalliola Kabinetti 

The community café located at Kalliola School is open to all ages in June from 1 to 18.6 June, Monday to Friday, 10 am to 15 pm. The summer café offers activities for the whole family, such as physical activity, board games, billiards or air hockey. 

Keskuskatu youth center 

The Keskuskatu youth centre (address: Keskuskatu 4) is open to young people in the summer from Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (June 1st to July 10th). During the summer, the youth centre is open to incoming 5th graders and older.  

At the youth center, you can spend time with friends and play various games. In addition, the youth center instructors organize fun activities together.
