International operation

Are you interested in internationality? Culture and youth services actively implement the international activities of young people in the form of Erasmus+ youth exchanges and participation projects.
The projects involve cooperation with various young voluntary groups. We will inform about international exchanges when they open on the municipality's social media.


International youth work has been carried out with several partners since 2018. The most recent international Erasmus+ youth exchanges we have carried out in 2022-2023 with the municipality of Calvia in Mallorca. “Intercolles” and “Collage of Identity” are based on increasing cultural understanding between young people. The photographic works realized in the Collage of Identity project were on display as an exhibition at the Hollola municipal library 1.3.2024 The project will be presented at the national youth work event Nuori24 in Tampere on 24.4 April.
