Elementary activities
Last updated: 06.09.2023Primary class activities in Hollola are pre- and primary education (1st and 2nd grades) planned daily work in a common learning environment. In the children's group, a preschool teacher and a class teacher, if necessary a nanny and/or school attendance assistant and part of the time a special education teacher work as a multi-professional team. In elementary school, a preschooler grows up to be a schoolboy among his peers, following the model of schoolchildren. If possible, the child continues as a first and second grader with familiar adults and children. If necessary, he receives individual support for learning and growth. The activity is based on Hollola's preschool and basic education curriculum, it is functional and playful. The activity takes place in different operating environments that support the child's learning and play, and it takes place in different and different-sized groups. In Hollola, Children's groups for primary grades are formed each year according to the number of children and facilities, regionally and per unit.
