Early childhood education
In Hollola's early childhood education, the holistic growth, development and learning of the child is promoted together with the adults who are important to the child. Early childhood education can take many forms - the multi-professional staff takes each child into account as an individual, enabling the realization of a good day for the child. Preschool education
In Hollola, pre-school education forms a complete whole that supports the child's growth and learning together with early childhood education and basic education. The activity is partly implemented as an elementary class activity, where we work in a common learning environment without being tied to year classes. In the year before compulsory schooling begins, the child must participate in a year-long pre-school education or other activities that achieve the goals of pre-school education.
Basic education
In Hollola schools, the teaching environments have been adjusted to meet the needs of today and the future without compromising on comfort. Learning in schools is based on active activities and working together by involving children and families. Learning has many natures. Schools and the surrounding environment are made for activities. Modern teaching units break boundaries. Students are met as individuals on their school path. Backpacks are loaded with the tools of the future.
Youth work
The municipality's youth work includes, among other things, educational guidance for young people, youth work in schools, investigative youth work, special youth work, space activities carried out in community cafes, activities during the holidays and hobby opportunities, as well as information and counseling services. Youth work is mainly produced as the municipality's own activity, but we also cooperate with associations, organizations and other actors.
