Water traffic restrictions

In certain water areas, the movement of watercraft may be prohibited or restricted for a fixed period or indefinitely. This may be done to protect traffic, the environment, fishing or other livelihoods, or for the sake of public recreation or other public interest. The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom decides on prohibitions and restrictions.
