Clean groundwater is a treasure that needs to be protected. The Hollola area has extensive and excellent groundwater reserves.

In certain water areas, movement by water vehicle may be prohibited or restricted for a specified period of time or until further notice.

The diversity of species and habitat types is protected in nature reserves. There are numerous nature reserves in Hollola.

A special natural formation can be protected as a natural monument upon application or with the consent of the area's owner.

The use of motorized vehicles off-road on land or on ice can be restricted or prohibited under certain conditions.
