Dredging and mowing 

The Water Act governs the use and construction of water. The Häme Center for Business, Transport and Environment (ELY Center) must be notified at least one month before the start of the measures about mechanically dredging water bodies, placing dredged masses, filling the beach and mowing aquatic plants.

When the amount of dredged mass exceeds 500 m3, it is a water management project subject to a permit, for which a permit is sought from the Regional Administration Agency (AVI).

When planning dredging, you should check the site's planning regulations and find out the possible nature conservation areas in the area.
