Geopark weeks

Geopark weeks are spent in the Salpauselkä UNESCO Global Geopark area.

Salpauselkä Geopark weeks are celebrated annually and Geopark-themed events are organized in different parts of the six municipalities' internationally valuable areas. There will be e.g. guided tours and musical experiences in nature. Most of the events are open to everyone and free of charge, some have a limited number of participants, advance registration and/or a participation fee. The events are announced on the Salpauselkä Geopark website, as well as on the municipality's communication channels, such as this page.

The events are part of the joint European Geopark Weeks of the European UNESCO Global Geopark sites.
