Parks

The parks built in Hollola are mainly small-scale parks and playgrounds. In several locations, the built-up part is connected to an organic open green area. Along the streets, there are traffic green areas and shrubbery and tree plantings.

Parks and green areas are managed according to the management classification. Different areas are divided into treatment categories according to their location, purpose of use and natural conditions. The management categories of green areas can be found in the map service.

• A-built green area
  During the summer, we take care of trees and bushes and cut the lawn. Lawn length in care class A2 4-12 cm and in care class A3 8-25 cm.
  Cleanliness and maintenance of structures are taken care of all year round.
• B-open green area
  B2 and B3 meadows and the edges of traffic areas are mowed twice per growing season.
  Trees and bushes located in meadow areas are managed according to class A3.
