Hollola municipality's climate work

Last updated: 19.12.2023

Hollola has been Itch municipality since 2019. Hinku, i.e. carbon-neutral municipalities set themselves a common goal, and the municipality of Hollola has also done this

Hollola's climate emissions target: 80% emission reduction by 2030 from the 2007 level. By 2021, we have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 40%. Dear Hollola!

Emission reduction information can be followed on the website maintained by the Finnish Environment Agency

Energy efficiency is also a climate change and the municipality has entered into a municipal energy efficiency agreement with the Kets Energy Agency.

Hollola's energy efficiency goal: During the contract period 2017 – 2025, 7,5% of the municipality's energy consumption will be reduced.

The Hinku target applies to the entire municipality, but the energy efficiency agreement only applies to the municipal organization.

We challenge everyone to join the work for a cleaner tomorrow!

The municipality of Hollola invites all companies from Gotholla to join in order to achieve the climate goal. A carbon-neutral municipality needs all its actors so that an 80% emission reduction is possible. Many companies in Hollola are already working in an exemplary manner in climate matters, and this page collects links and examples of companies from Hollola.
