  • The centralized search for new detached plots is organized in the spring and/or fall during the separately announced search period. Decisions on the transfer of detached house plots are made as soon as possible after the end of the centralized application period.
  • Plots that were not allocated in the centralized application round, as well as undeveloped plots returned through canceled reservations or terminated leases, are freely available to apply all year round.
  • You can apply for these plots that are in continuous search every month, and the application period ends on the last day of each month. Decisions on the transfer of plots of land that are in continuous search are made once a month during the beginning of the month.
  • Priority is given to applicants who have not received a plot from the municipality for ten years, as well as private applicants who are building for their own use. If two or more applicants apply for the same plot, the municipality will draw lots between these applicants to receive the plot. The applicant puts the plots in order of priority in the application, if he applies for several plots in the same application.
  • The applicant should note that the sale deed or lease agreement is made in the name of those in the detached house plot application.
  • Plot reservation is per person and per plot. The person reserving can only have one plot at a time in the reservation, so the new plot application will not be taken into account until a legally binding lease agreement or sales have been made for the reserved plot.
  • The municipality can reject an application containing incomplete or incorrect information.
  • The reservation period for the plot is 6 months, during which the person making the reservation must indicate whether they want to buy or rent the plot. If the notification is not received by the end of the reservation period, the reservation of the plot will expire and the plot will be transferred to plots that are continuously being applied for.
  • The reservation fee for the plot is 500 euros, which is paid to the municipality's account within the specified time or the reservation of the plot expires.
  • The reservation fee is refunded in connection with the invoicing of the splitting costs, when the sales or rental agreement is concluded.
  • If the reservation expires or is canceled, the plot reservation fee of 500 euros remains with the municipality.
  • Before the end of the reservation period, the plot reserver must inform the municipality by email whether he wants to rent or buy the plot. The municipality does not Remind you of the end of the reservation period.
  • It takes a few weeks to make the lease agreement and prepare the deals. During holidays, preparation times can be longer, 1-2 months.
  • The lease period of the plot is 45 years.
  • The tenant has the right to claim the rental plot as his own when the construction obligation has been fulfilled. Redemption of the rental plot takes place at the regional zone price at the time of redemption, unless otherwise agreed in the lease agreement.

  • A residential building must be built on the plot of land in accordance with the site plan and construction method guidelines within three (3) years of handing over the plot to the degree of readiness that the building inspection authority can perform an acceptable commissioning inspection.
  • The municipality of Hollola can, for a special reason, extend the construction time upon application. An extension must be applied for in writing no later than three months before the end of the construction period.
