Due to the software update, new license applications cannot be created and applications cannot be submitted until January 1.1. – 19.1.2025. Regarding received and processed applications, the electronic permit service works normally.
Permit applications submitted before 31.12.2024 December 2024 will be processed on the basis of the Land Use and Construction Act valid at the time of submission. If you want the permit application to be processed according to the current Land Use and Building Act, please submit an electronic application to the building inspectorate by the end of XNUMX. Please note that in the transaction service Established, Returned or Advance surveyThe application in status is not a submitted application yet. If the project is Established, Returned or Advance Inquiry-state in 2024 and the application is submitted only in 2025, the application must be established, i.e. made again according to the new permit types. However, if you are just starting to apply for a permit, you should consider whether you have time to complete and submit the application before the end of 2024.

Electronic services
Building control has an electronic transaction service for applying for construction-related permits and for transactions during construction.
The right to build is determined in urban planning areas according to the efficiency number of the plot indicated in the urban planning.
The general plans may also contain regulations on the amount of building rights. If there is no entry in the general plan about the right to build on the building site marked in the general plan, the right to build in the general plan is determined in a sparsely populated area in accordance with the provisions of the building code.
Building right inquiries will possibly be discussed at the weekly meeting of building supervision and land use, the matter will be announced after the discussion.

The new Construction Act has entered into force on January 1.1.2025, 1.1.2025. Permit procedures and the need for permits for various procedures have changed with the new law.
