Partial formulas
Last updated: 13.09.2023The master plan is the municipality's general land use plan. Its task is to place the community's various functions, such as housing, services and workplaces, as well as recreational areas, and to organize the connections between them. The general plan can apply to the entire municipality or part of it. A plan drawn up for a sub-area is called a sub-general plan. In rural and coastal areas, a master plan can also be drawn up in such a way that it can be used directly as a basis for granting a building permit. The general plan is also a guide when preparing and changing the site plan and in other planning related to the use of the areas.
An up-to-date partial general plan can be found in our map service.
