Location marking

Last updated: 26.09.2024

The location and height of the building will be marked on the plot before construction begins. Marking is done at the customer's order after the building permit has been granted. The location of the building is marked according to the dimensions of the approved site plan. The extreme corners of the buildings are marked with four corner points. The location of the building is marked on the terrain with wooden stakes and, if necessary, paint marks.

The building permit fee includes one marking of the building on the terrain. If you want to order a preliminary marking before the actual marking of the building's location, a separate fee will be charged for this.

In site plan areas, marking the location of buildings is performed by the municipality's surveying services and is ordered from the spatial information coordinator. In other areas, building inspectors verify the location of the building. Interest is usually brought to the plot (N2000) when the location is marked, but it is possible to order it for the plot even before the location is marked.

Location overview

The site survey is carried out on the customer's order when the foundations of the building are ready. The location survey states that the location and elevation of the building are in accordance with the approved drawings. It is ordered in the site plan area from the location data coordinator. The location inspection ensures that the location and elevation of the building are in accordance with the approved building permit.
