Border display

Last updated: 15.09.2023

Border display is an informal measuring procedure to find out the location of the border.

The border can be displayed if the plot's boundary markers have disappeared and the location of the border is unclear and it is wanted to be clarified, for example, for the construction of a fence. Border marking is an informal procedure where border points are not marked or constructed with clothes, but the municipality's measuring group temporarily marks the border or border markers with wooden stakes and/or paint markers.

On request, the municipality also carries out informal border screenings for private individuals at an hourly rate in the site plan area.

The border display in the site plan area can be ordered from the geographic information coordinator.

If the border marker is lost and you want an official border crossing, you can order it from the land surveying office.
