Carpet washing places
Last updated: 18.11.2025Municipalities have three carpet washing places in Hollola.
The carpet washing facilities are available to all residents and carpets and other textiles can be washed in the basins. Each user must take care of the cleanliness of the basins and the environment.
Carpet cleaning locations are open from June to September from 6 am to 22 pm.
Washing carpets in lakes is prohibited in the municipality of Hollola. See environmental protection regulations.
Carpet cleaning facilities are maintained by Viherpalvelut Hyvönen Oy.
At Turkumäentie 1.
The carpet washing area has four narrow and two wide sinks, a drying rack and draining racks. The washing water comes from a tap and sprays onto the carpet from the entire width of the sink. The equipment also includes a drying rack and drying racks. Carpets may not be left to dry on racks, only drained. Thanks to the flat terrain, the carpet washing area is accessible to laundry workers of all ages and those with mobility impairments. There is also a small seating area with benches next to it, for example for eating snacks, a children's playground and a toilet.
At Leipäläntie 2.
