Playgrounds offer safe, versatile and comfortable play environments. There is an information board at the public playgrounds with information about the area, contact information, emergency number and order instructions.
There are no supervising staff in the playgrounds, so the children's stay in the parks is the responsibility of the parents.
In addition, there are playground equipment in properties, e.g. in the yards of schools and kindergartens.
Hollola municipality maintains 37 playgrounds and playgrounds.
We check the safety of the playgrounds several times a year.
Once a year a thorough inspection is carried out and twice a year a lighter operational inspection.
In addition, the safety of playground equipment is constantly monitored in connection with maintenance work on green areas. Guided by the inspections, we maintain and, if necessary, replace the equipment with new parts.
We also make basic improvements so that we completely replace equipment that is in poor condition and refurbish equipment that can be stored.
Terranor Oy is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the playgrounds.
Hollolan Tilapalvelu Oy is responsible for the maintenance of playgrounds in schools and kindergartens.
