Waste management and recycling

According to the Waste Act, everyone who produces waste has an obligation to take care of their waste properly.

Residents or housing associations must ensure that the property is connected to organized waste management. All properties in use that generate residential waste or waste comparable to it must join organized waste transport by signing a contract with a transport company. The order also applies to holiday homes. Waste transport is handled by private transport companies. In Hollola's waste management guide, you can find instructions for joining the waste management.
