Both schoolchildren and students who have their own business idea or an interest in entrepreneurship can apply to the program; a completed plan is not required.

Make your summer your own and try entrepreneurship

Yrityskesä 2026 is a free summer program supported by the municipality of Hollola, which is based on establishing and running a 4H company. Participants can implement their own idea, for example, baking, yard work, photography, content production or other services. You can become a summer entrepreneur alone or together with a friend.

The business summer includes:

  • Business training where you learn the basics of entrepreneurship
  • your own mentor who will support and spar throughout the summer
  • A €400 business voucher to start operations. The voucher is paid in two installments. In addition, participants have the opportunity to apply for an additional grant of up to €500, for example for the purchase of work tools or other operational development work.
  • assistance with marketing and sales
  • opportunities to participate in sales and networking events
  • a safe and encouraging way to try entrepreneurship
  • There are also ready-made business packages available, such as "Owning a Summer Café" and "Maintaining Agricultural Plots", which bring participants a guaranteed income.

Those who complete the program receive a certificate and can apply for credits towards their studies. The 4H business course is worth 1 credit and being a 4H entrepreneur is worth 7 credits.

Who is the program suitable for?

The Business Summer is aimed at people aged 13–29 from Holländisches Källä who are interested in entrepreneurship. The program is particularly suitable for applicants who already have their own business idea or preliminary idea. Applicants do not need a ready-made business idea, curiosity and motivation are sufficient.
