The project has shown interest in the villages, and three different village associations from the Hollola municipality have been involved:
– Koski Association (Hämeenkoski)
– Paimela Village Association
– Hollola Parish Villages Association.
In cooperation with associations, villages are commissioned to conduct a village safety survey, which allows every permanent or seasonal resident to influence the safety of their village.
– We hope to receive a large number of responses to the survey from all residents of the municipality, regardless of where they live, so that we can get a picture of the residents' sense of safety and community in their villages. All permanent, seasonal or part-time residents of Hollola, from babies to grandfathers, can answer the survey. The survey will be conducted electronically and will be open until October 14, says the project coordinator. Tea Sissonen.
The survey also provides information to the authorities
The results of the survey will be distributed locally to the villages participating in the project and to the village safety groups established in them, who will utilize the information, for example, in the village safety plan produced for the village and the rescue plan for the village event.
The authority representation that is part of the project team will also have access to the survey results from other areas of the municipality. This will support the authorities' and the municipality's own preparedness work.
– We are able to link the survey results to the cooperation between the municipality and the authorities in a new way. At the same time, the dialogue between the villages, the municipality and the authorities on everyday safety will be strengthened. Now is an excellent opportunity to share your thoughts about your own living environment, adds Sissonen.
You can respond to the survey starting Tuesday, September 23.9rd at: https://bit.ly/hollolankylaturvallisuus.
