The municipal board decided to propose to the municipal council meeting on 19.5.25 that no additional funds be allocated for the renovation of the Paimela unit and that the Paimela school and early childhood education unit be closed.
The proposal is based on statements made by the Education and Wellbeing Committee and the Vitality Committee, a risk assessment, and an economic analysis.
