Announcing summer care times
We ask that you inform us of your child's summertime care needs from 2.6 June to 3.8.2025 August 23.4.2025 no later than Wednesday XNUMX April XNUMX. The need for treatment is reported through Edlevo.
You must reserve a daycare time for your child every day or a significant absence when your child is on vacation. If you do not yet know the daycare times for that time, use an estimate. The estimate must be corrected before the daycare times are locked.
If your child has had a change of group or unit since the beginning of August, please notify the care times and absences to the new placement. Unused hours cannot be transferred to another time.
Centralization of activities in early childhood education
In the summer, early childhood education will be organized centrally in units to be announced later between 23.6 June and 1.8.2025 August 23.4.2025. We will inform you about the summer arrangements as soon as possible after XNUMX April XNUMX.
Effect of absence on payment
Only pre-notified absences for the entire period from 23.6 June to 31.7.2025 July XNUMX will be credited towards the early childhood education fee. Please note that the last day of July is a Thursday.
Absences from 23.6.-31.7.2025 must be reported no later than Wednesday 23.4.2025, any absences reported after this date will not be compensated. Individual days will not be compensated for this period.
Only the operating days of the early childhood education unit are credited in the customer fee. Business days are all weekdays when the daycare center is open. For children in shift care, weekends and holidays are also considered activity days.
If the child has started municipal early childhood education before September 2024, and there has been no break in early childhood education, July is free of charge.
If the child has started municipal early childhood education in another municipality before September 2024, and there has been no break in early childhood education when moving from one municipality to another, we ask you to contact the early childhood education service guidance at varaskasvatus@hollola.fi
