The impact of the law on service voucher customers

The Act on the Early Childhood Education Service Voucher (1048/2025) has entered into force on 1 January 2026. The most important change brought about by the law is that, as of 1 January 2026, the service provider may no longer charge customers an additional fee, but in the future, the deductible charged by the service provider from the customer may be a maximum of 75 euros higher than the municipal early childhood education customer fee.

The service voucher rulebook of the municipality of Hollola has been updated as of January 1, 2026. The updated service voucher rulebook can be viewed on the municipality's website. Service voucher decisions in accordance with the new law will be made for customers as of January 1, 2026. This does not require any action from customers.

At this stage, new decisions will be transferred to the guardians' Edlevo for reading. Other functions, such as reporting care times and absences, will be carried out in accordance with the unit's instructions.
